  2. Grate the onion and garlic on a fine grater, wrap in cheesecloth, squeeze into prepared hot water, then put the squeezed gauze bag there.

Procedure: bend over the container with the solution, close your eyes tightly, inhale the steam through your nose and mouth. In order to keep the inhalation solution hot for a longer time and not to let out steam wasted, it is additionally recommended to cover your head and container with a thick cloth (for example, a towel).

It takes about 15 minutes to inhale the vapors - until the liquid cools. After the procedure, you should go to bed and cover yourself with a warm blanket.

Note! Avoid getting garlic on the mucous membranes, especially when they are inflamed - this can cause chemical burns and irritation, accompanied by pain.

With soda


  • Water - 1 liter.
  • Garlic - 5-6 cloves.
  • Soda - 1 teaspoon.


  1. Grate the garlic on a coarse grater.
  2. Pour with prepared water, bring to a boil, boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, cool slightly, add to liquid and dissolve soda in it.

Inhalation should be carried out for 12-15 minutes, after cooling the solution, warm up and repeat the procedure.

With chamomile


  • Water - 1 l.
  • Dry flowers of pharmacy chamomile - 25-30 g.
  • Garlic - 5 cloves.


  1. Pour the chamomile with boiling water, let it brew for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the garlic, wrap in cheesecloth, dip in the resulting infusion.
  3. Let stand under the lid for another 5 minutes.
  4. Warm up the solution.
  5. Inhale steam for 15 minutes.

It is recommended to inhale 2-3 times a day.

With coniferous extract


  • Water - 1-1.2 liters.
  • Coniferous extract - 2-3 teaspoons liquid or 20 dry (in briquettes).
  • Garlic - 3-4 cloves.


  1. To boil water.
  2. If the coniferous extract is in liquid form, pour the required amount into hot water, if in dry form, pour boiling water and let it brew for 5 minutes.

Inhale hot steam for 12-15 minutes, after the liquid has cooled down, breathe its vapors for about 10 minutes. This recipe is well suited for prophylactic inhalation.

With menthol


  • Water - 1-1.5 liters.
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves.
  • Liquid menthol - 15-20 drops.

The liquid menthol in the recipe can be replaced with mint leaves - dry or fresh. In a crushed form, they will need three tablespoons. This option works well for children.


  1. Boil the water.
  2. Add the specified amount of menthol to boiling water.
  3. Chop the garlic on a fine grater, wrap it in two layers of gauze, squeeze it into menthol water, put the gauze with the rest of the product in the same place.

Breathe the resulting solution for 15 minutes. It is advisable to repeat the procedure twice a day.

With eucalyptus


  • Water - 1 liter.
  • Garlic - 5-6 cloves.
  • Eucalyptus in the form of an essential oil - 7-10 drops, in the form of an alcohol tincture - 2 teaspoons.


  1. Add eucalyptus oil or tincture and finely chopped garlic to hot boiled water.
  2. Leave to infuse under the lid for 5-7 minutes.

To carry out inhalation according to the general scheme, 2-3 times a day for treatment and once a day for the prevention of diseases.

Important! If a child or an adult with a disease such as bronchial asthma passes through the treatment process, the concentration of garlic in the solution must be reduced - this will help to avoid negative consequences, for example, burning sensation in the respiratory tract or difficulty breathing.

You can also inhale only using garlic - for this you need to add 7-8 cloves of garlic, crushed together with the husk, into boiling water, simmer over minimal heat for 4-5 minutes, and then apply according to the general scheme.
