hi have given me some palaenopsis but after the flowers have fallen they have not made me any more, the leaves grow and make new ones but no flowers what mistake I keep them in a luminous and humid place, it is true that they must stay in a container transparent for the roots that must have so much light? thanks
Orchid loses flowers: Answer: orchid
it is true that the phalaenopsis roots prefer transparent vases, since they are green and therefore the cells on their surface practice photosynthesis; It is also true that in general the phalaenopsis roots, if grown in non-transparent pots, tend to soak and leave the pot, to reach the light. If your phalaenopsis is healthy and lush it will bloom later in the spring.
