Growing features

Explosion tomatoes can be grown in all regions of Russia, and they are also common on the territory of Ukraine and Moldova. The main feature of the variety is that they can be grown both in seedling and non-seedling methods. They are distinguished by good seed germination and fast fruit ripening.

Before sowing seeds for seedlings, it is necessary to hold them in melt water for six hours, and then in aloe juice. These solutions are excellent growth stimulants. After that, the seeds must be dried, and then they can be sown in well-heated soil. This usually happens in March or April.

The soil for these tomatoes should be slightly acidic, light and well moistened. Read also about the types of soil for tomatoes, about what kind of soil should be when planting tomatoes in a greenhouse.

Some gardeners first plant seeds in small containers with nutrient soil, and after the emergence of shoots, they plant them in the ground along with these containers. This allows you to keep the plant root system intact. The distance between the bushes should be 50 centimeters, and between the rows - 40 centimeters. Someone uses special mini-greenhouses for seedlings.

After the seedlings appear, they will need frequent but moderate watering. One plant should receive 100 milliliters of water every seven days. After the leaves are formed on the plants, the amount of water will need to be increased to 200 milliliters.

While the plants are in the vegetative stage, it is necessary to feed them at least four times. For feeding, you can use both chemicals and a solution of wood ash with bird droppings or manure.

  • For seedlings.
  • Top of the best.
  • Mineral and organic.
  • Ready-made complexes.
  • Yeast.
  • Iodine.
  • Ash.
  • Hydrogen peroxide.
  • Ammonia.
  • Boric acid.
  • How to properly carry out foliar feeding and fertilize plants when picking?

IMPORTANT! Although these tomatoes need pinching, this is offset by good fruit set. Therefore, if you pick ripe fruits on time, this will stimulate the appearance of new tomatoes.

Like any other varieties, the explosion will not be damaged by the correct irrigation regime, weed removal or mulching, tying if necessary.

Diseases and pests

Tomatoes Explosion are practically not susceptible to diseases, but everyone should know about the most basic and measures to combat them. Read about alternariosis, fusarium, verticillium, late blight, protection against late blight and varieties that are not susceptible to this scourge. From pests - the Colorado potato beetle, aphids, thrips, spider mites, tomatoes can be protected by treatment with insecticidal preparations.

If you take proper care of the Burst tomatoes, they will give you a rich harvest of tasty and healthy tomatoes that you can use for both personal consumption and for sale.
