Question: bamboo disease

I have a bamboo in a large vase on the terrace that has developed well but in this period many of the leaves are yellowed and the soil around the plant is covered with a gluing substance that seems to come from the plant.
How can I recover this beautiful plant?

Answer: bamboo disease

Dear Bruno,
many species and varieties of babs love to have a good availability of water, but fear stagnation; it would seem that your bamboo is suffering from an excess of water in the soil, as if the roots were suffocating. You can try to save it by letting the soil dry well, but it is not said to survive.
