Question: sterlizia

I ask how they multiply from the mother plant and the best time to do the thinning of the sterility Thank you

Answer: sterlizia

Gentile Grilli,
the Strelizia is a rhizomatous perennial plant, as such it generally multiplies by division of the tufts; this operation is practiced in summer or late spring: proceed by taking the head from the ground, and cutting it into portions with a sharp and well-cleaned knife; each portion must contain at least one stem with leaves and part of the underlying root bread. Each portion is then planted individually.
Dry or damaged leaves are cut periodically, other types of pruning are not carried out.
