Acid soils

Question: acid soils

which plants do not tolerate acid soil and what does it require?

Answer: acid soils

Dear Rita,
there are thousands and thousands of families, genera and species of plants, many of which are grown in the garden, it is therefore difficult to answer your question, for which a whole book would be needed.
In general, in the garden acidophilous plants are cultivated that belong to the family of heather, which need to survive acid soils, and hate limestone; then the heather, the kalmia, the rhododendrons and the azaleas, the pieris.
The other plants in general do not require acid soils, but there are obviously a thousand other species of plants, not heather, that love acid soil.
