Growing recommendations
The variety of tomatoes "Russian domes" is suitable for growing in the southern and middle zone of our country. In the northern regions it is grown only indoors.
Seeds for seedlings are sown at the end of March, the plant is planted in the ground at the end of May - beginning of June, after the end of the last frost, when the first brush begins to bloom at the seedlings.
The main care is watering and feeding. When planting in the ground, humus must be introduced into the hole and the bush is watered abundantly. Watering is done infrequently, but with plenty of water.
The determinant variety "Russian Kupola" has a strong stem, it may need a support when it begins to bear fruit so that the tomatoes do not come into contact with the ground.
It must be pinned so as not to overload the plant with an unnecessarily abundant harvest. A large number of fruiting clusters can lead to an increase in the ripening period of the fruit. Therefore, it is better to clean up extra stepsons.
This variety does not show particular resistance to diseases. Since these tomatoes are planted most often in open ground, it is necessary to carefully monitor the bushes so as not to miss the onset of the disease, especially if it is rainy, cool weather. It is she who contributes to the spread of fungal diseases characteristic of tomatoes.
The "Russian Kupola" variety is equally tasty both fresh in salads and in canning - in pickling, assorted vegetables, adjika, suitable for making homemade ketchup.
